What happens when you bring together ambitious law firm owners in one of the most beautiful destinations in Mexico?
You create an experience that goes far beyond a conference.
From June 15–20, attorneys from across the country gathered in Riviera Maya, Cancun, for Raise the Bar Live 2026—six unforgettable days dedicated to leadership, business growth, meaningful relationships, and stepping away from the daily demands of running a law firm to focus on becoming the CEO their firm deserves.
With our largest Raise the Bar attendance to date, this year’s retreat welcomed many first-time attendees who quickly became part of a community of like-minded law firm owners committed to growing together.
A Warm Welcome to an Incredible Week
The retreat officially began with our Welcome Reception at the beautiful Nautica Deck, overlooking the Caribbean Sea.
Guests enjoyed cocktails, appetizers, and a networking activity designed to help everyone connect from the very first evening. Within minutes, strangers became friends as conversations flowed naturally, laughter filled the venue, and attendees began building relationships that would continue throughout the week.
It was the perfect way to kick off an experience centered on learning, collaboration, and community.
Day One: Building the CEO Mindset
The first workshop day challenged attendees to think differently about their firms.
Instead of simply managing cases, the focus shifted toward building businesses that can grow, scale, and operate with intention.
The day began with three sessions led by Jayden Doye:
- Vision to Velocity: Building the Law Firm You Actually Want
- Building a Law Firm That Runs on Repeatable Systems
- Inbox to Income: Managing Email Without Lettng It Manage Your Firm
Through practical exercises and interactive worksheets, attendees evaluated the strengths and weaknesses of their current businesses while identifying opportunities to improve operations, leadership, and efficiency.
The afternoon featured an outstanding lineup of guest speakers sharing their expertise:
- Transition to Flat Fee — Kim Bennett
- Cost-Benefits of Staffing: Be the Lawyer, Not the Assistant — Joe Bravo
- The Silent Salesperson: What Your Firm Is Saying Before You Ever Speak — Dalia Jimenez
- Running Your Law Firm Like a Business: Operational Efficiency & AI Adoption — Cynthia Thomas
- How I Built a $3.7M Law Firm — Deidra Haynes
- Hire Yourself Last — Interactive Activity with Ebony Whitby
The energy throughout the day was incredible. Attendees participated in thoughtful discussions, completed worksheets alongside fellow law firm owners, and left with practical ideas they could begin implementing immediately.
After the workshops, everyone had the afternoon free to enjoy the resort. Some relaxed by the beach or pool, while others explored the local area and enjoyed dinner together at a nearby Greek restaurant.
